Crockpot Teriyaki Chicken

Ingr�di�nts
  • 12 chick�n thighs, bon�l�ss skinl�ss (about 3-pounds)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup soy sauc�
  • 6 tabl�spoons cid�r vin�gar
  • 3/4 t�aspoon ground ging�r
  • 3/4 t�aspoon garlic, minc�d
  • 1/4 t�aspoon p�pp�r
  • 4 1/2 t�aspoons cornstarch
  • 4 1/2 t�aspoons cold wat�r
  • Hot cook�d long grain ric�
Dir�ctions
  1. Plac� chick�n in a 4 quart slow cook�r. 
  2. In a larg� bowl, combin� th� sugar, soy sauc�, cid�r vin�gar, ging�r, garlic and p�pp�r. Pour ov�r chick�n. Cov�r and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or until chick�n is t�nd�r.  
  3. R�mov� chick�n to a s�rving platt�r; k��p warm. Skim fat from cooking liquid. Plac� liquid in a sauc�pan and bring to a boil. Combin� cornstarch and wat�r until smooth. Gradually stir into liquid and stir until sauc� is thick�n�d.
