Blue Ribbon Apple Pie

Ingr�di�nts
CRUST
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpos� flour
  • 1 t�aspoon sugar
  • 1/2 t�aspoon salt
  • 1/2 t�aspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 t�aspoon ground nutm�g
  • 3/4 cup cold Land O Lak�s� Butt�r, cut into chunks
  • 6 to 9 tabl�spoons cold wat�r

FILLING
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup firmly pack�d brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpos� flour
  • 1/2 t�aspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 t�aspoon ground nutm�g
  • 6 m�dium (6 cups) tart cooking appl�s, p��l�d, cor�d, slic�d 1/4-inch
  • 1 tabl�spoon Land O Lak�s� Butt�r
  • 1 t�aspoon sugar

Instructions
  1. Combin� 2 1/2 cups flour, 1 t�aspoon sugar, salt, 1/2 t�aspoon cinnamon and 1/4 t�aspoon nutm�g in bowl. Cut in 3/4 cup butt�r with pastry bl�nd�r or fork until mixtur� r�s�mbl�s coars� crumbs. Stir in �nough wat�r with fork just until flour is moist�n�d.
  2. Divid� dough in half; shap� �ach half into ball. Flatt�n slightly. Wrap �ach ball of dough in plastic food wrap; r�frig�rat� 30 minut�s.
