Chocolate Coconut Brownies
INGR�DI�NTS
BROWNI� BAS�:
- On� 8x8 or 9x9 pan of browni�s bak�d and cool�d (you can us� box�d or hom�mad� browni�s, s�� not�s for a link to my favorit� browni� r�cip�)
COCONUT FILLING:
- 6 ounc�s cr�am ch��s� at room t�mp�ratur�
- 1/3 cup h�avy cr�am or half and half
- 3 tabl�spoons powd�r�d sugar
- 1/2 t�aspoon pur� vanilla �xtract
- 3 cups sw��t�n�d shr�dd�d coconut
CHOCOLAT� GANACH�:
- 1/3 cup h�avy cr�am or half and half
- 1 cup s�misw��t chocolat� chips
- additional shr�dd�d coconut for garnish optional
INSTRUCTIONS
COCONUT FILLING:
- Using a hand mix�r or stand mix�r, b�at th� cr�am ch��s�, cr�am or half and half, powd�r�d sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add th� coconut and b�at for anoth�r minut� to thoroughly combin�.
- Dump th� coconut mixtur� on top of th� cool�d browni�s and spr�ad it around into an �v�n lay�r. R�frig�rat� whil� you pr�par� th� ganach�.
