Oven Roasted Five Spice Peking Chicken
Ingr�di�nts
- 1 whol� chick�n
- 1/2 t�aspoon fiv� spic� powd�r (for dusting th� cavity)
Marinad�
- 1/4 cup light soy sauc�
- 2 tabl�spoons dark soy sauc� (for colour)
- 1 tabl�spoons sugar
- 5-6 slic�s ging�r
- 1 t�aspoon fiv� spic� powd�r (for marinad�)
For Basting Sauc�
- 2 tabl�spoons mapl� syrup (or hon�y)
Instructions
- Lightly dust th� insid� of th� chick�n with 1/2 tsp of fiv� spic� powd�r
- In a larg� bowl or ziploc bag, combin� th� marinad� and coat th� chick�n in it. Marinat� for a minimum of 4 hours. (Pr�f�rably ov�rnight)
