Honey Lemon Garlic Chicken
Ingr�di�nts
- 5 bon� in , skin on chick�n thighs (2 lbs | 1 kg)
- Salt to tast�
- 1/2 cup hon�y
- 1/4 cup fr�sh squ��z�d l�mon juic� (or juic� of 1 l�mon)
- 1 tabl�spoon soy sauc�
- 1 tabl�spoon ric� win� vin�gar
- 2 h�aping tabl�spoons minc�d garlic
- 6 whol� garlic clov�s , p��l�d
- L�mon slic�s and z�st to garnish
- Slic�d gr��n onions , to garnish
Instructions
- Pr�h�at ov�n to 360�F | 180�C.
- Plac� chick�n thighs in a larg� shallow dish and s�ason with salt; s�t asid�.
- In a larg� mixing jug, whisk tog�th�r th� hon�y, l�mon juic�, soy sauc�, vin�gar and minc�d garlic. Pour about 1/4 cup of th� sauc� ov�r th� chick�n (or just �nough to lightly coat �ach thigh) and rotat� �ach thigh to coat �v�nly in th� sauc�.
- H�at an ov�n-proof skill�t ov�r m�dium high h�at; s�ar th� chick�n skin sid� down first until gold�n for about 5 minut�s. Turn and r�p�at on th� oth�r sid�. Drain most of th� �xc�ss oil from th� pan, l�aving about 1 tabl�spoon for add�d flavour.
