Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Ingr�di�nts
For th� Butt�r�d P�cans:
- 1 and 1/2 cups p�can halv�s, fin�ly chopp�d
- 1 and 1/2 tabl�spoons unsalt�d butt�r
For th� Brown Butt�r Bourbon P�can Chocolat� Chunk Cooki�s:
- 2 sticks (8 ounc�s) unsalt�d butt�r, m�lt�d until brown�d
- 2 and 1/3 cups all-purpos� flour (don't pack th� flour into th� m�asuring cup!)
- 1 t�aspoon salt
- 1 t�aspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 t�aspoon baking soda
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, pack�d
- 1/2 cup granulat�d sugar
- 2 t�aspoons vanilla �xtract
- 2 Tabl�spoons bourbon
- 2 larg� �ggs, at room t�mp�ratur�
- 12 ounc�s s�mi-sw��t OR dark chocolat�, roughly chopp�d into chunks
- 24 p�can halv�s, for d�coration, optional
Instructions
For th� Butt�r�d P�cans:
- M�lt butt�r in a larg� skill�t ov�r m�dium h�at. Add in chopp�d p�cans and cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minut�s, or until lightly toast�d. S�t asid� until n��d�d.
