INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound ground chuck 80%-85% lean
  • kosher or sea salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices American or Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • OPTIONAL TOPPINGS
  • condiments of choice such as ketchup, mustard, and mayo. Toppings such as lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place ground chuck in a medium-size mixing bowl and sprinkle with salt & pepper. Mix gently to combine, but don’t overwork the meat.
  2. Divide the meat into four equal portions.
  3. Place one portion on a plate and gently press it into a 1-inch, round patty. (The patty should NOT be smooth – leave some craggy edges and don’t press it too flat.)
  4. With your thumb or fingers, press a “moat”, approximately ¼-½ inch from the edge, around the circumference of the burger - be sure the edge of the burger is a little higher than the indentation. This will ensure the burger will flatten out while cooking. Repeat this process with each portion.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium/high heat. When the pan is hot, carefully place the patties in the skillet (no need to grease skillet) leaving some space between each patty.
  6. Cook the burgers until nicely seared and they have browned halfway up the sides.
  7. Flip the burgers and cook to your liking. (*NOTE - To ensure all bacteria has been killed, the FDA recommends cooking burgers to an internal temperature of 160°F.)
  8. If adding cheese: remove the pan from the heat and place the cheese atop the burgers. Cover the skillet and allow the residual heat/steam to melt the cheese.
  9. Serve on toasted buns topped with your favorite toppings.
  10. Enjoy!

I’ve been experimenting with easy chicken wing recipes lately, and I think I’ve found a favorite. I love that this Baked Wings Recipe is healthier than traditional chicken wings because it’s baked in the oven instead of fried. We already know we love Oven Fried Chicken, so I thought it would be perfect. This Easy Chicken Wings recipe will make any wing-loving husband (or wife!) pretty darn happy on Valentine’s Day. And of course, these baked chicken wings are the perfect appetizer for game day, Super Bowl Sunday, or any occasion. They make great party food!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 10 chicken wingettes just means tips removed, thawed

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil. Dot the foil with the butter, there is no need to melt it ahead of time but you can if you would like.
  3. In a medium sized bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, and salt and pepper.
  4. Coat both sides of each wing fully in the flour mixture and place on the baking sheet. Make sure the butter pieces are evenly spaced out among the wings.
  5. Bake wings for 30 minutes.
  6. Turn wings over and bake for an additional 15 more minutes or until crispy and fully cooked.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.

Chicken, avocado, tomato, and cheese topped with a cilantro yogurt ranch sauce and  wrapped in flour tortillas. These easy no fuss wraps are lean and make a great healthy high protein lunch.

It’s no secret that burrito wraps are a favorite of mine. They’re easy to make, healthy, and always flavorful. I usually start with chicken and build upon it. Avocado and cheese are great add-ins too. To tie it all together, I like to use Greek yogurt, sour-cream or ranch. This avocado ranch chicken wrap features ranch and greek yogurt as the base. The flavors of the ranch along with the richness of the avocado are a match made in heaven.

For the chicken, I like to season chicken breasts with taco seasoning  and grill it on the stove top. I then chop or shred it and use it for the wraps. Chopped or shredded rotisserie chicken or any other type of leftover chicken works great too!

Ingredients


  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour-cream
  • 1/4 cup light ranch dressing bottled or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro or parsley minced
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 4 medium flour tortillas
  • 2 cupscooked chicken chopped or shredded
  • 1 avocado peeled & pitted and sliced
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese optional

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the greek yogurt, ranch dressing, cilantro and salt & pepper to taste.
  2. Place tortillas on a clean flat surface. Top each tortilla with 1/4th of the chicken, avocado, tomato, and shredded cheese. Drizzle with a few tablespoons of the yogurt/ranch sauce and roll tightly. Secure with a toothpick if necessary. Enjoy!

Don’t you just love it when you finally learn how to make one of your favorite take-out dishes at home?! This is totally happening here. I’ve been trying to replicate all of our favorite takeout dishes while making them healthier. The trick is simplifying the recipes so you don’t spend all day in the kitchen.

This easy baked honey garlic chicken is just that. It’s really easy to prepare and makes a great dinner. The chicken is baked in a honey, garlic, soy and vinegar sauce that is out of this world. The honey and soy sauce caramelize the chicken so you end up with a slightly sticky texture.

I used chicken legs (thighs and drumsticks) but breasts would also work with this, although you would have to adjust the baking time. The chicken can be marinated in the fridge over-night then popped in the oven when needed. Just remember, the longer you marinate the chicken, the tastier and more flavorful the dish will be!

Ingredients


  • 3 lbs chicken leg quarters with skin (about 4 legs quarters)
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 400F degrees F. Line a baking dish with aluminum foil (optional); set aside.
  2. Layer the chicken legs on the baking dish. In a small bowl combine the garlic, honey, soy, and vinegar. Whisk until fully combined. Pour mixture onto chicken legs, coating evenly.
  3. Bake 40-45 minutes or until skin is crisp and caramelized and chicken is cooked through.
  4. For dark crispy skin: Place chicken under the broiler for 3-5 minutes or until desired crispness.

Healthy low-carb spiralized zucchini noodles tossed in fragrant garlic chicken. This simple yet flavorful dish comes together in under 15 minutes with just 4 simple ingredients.

Summer is right around the corner and all I want to eat in summer is zucchini noodles. They’ve became a great replacement to pasta over the past few months and have helped me et much healthier dinners and trim off a few pounds as well.

These garlic chicken zoodles have become my go to dish because of how simple and delicious these zoodles are. The whole dish consists of chicken breasts cut into small chunks, a few cloves of minced garlic, spiralized zucchini noodles and olive oil. After those 4 main ingredients, you can add in pretty much anything else you’d like. I like to stick with salt, pepper and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes but parmesan is a great option too!

Ingredients


  • 2 medium chicken breasts cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced or crushed
  • 3 zucchini spiralized
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large heavy-duty pan to medium/high heat. Add olive oil and minced garlic. Cook garlic for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  2. Add chicken, red pepper flakes and salt & pepper. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
  3. Toss in spiralized zoodles and cook for 1 minute then turn off heat. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired.

I’m always in the search for quick and simple dinners that are 30 minutes or less. Foil pack dinners are always a great option when you just want a healthy and quick dinner without the bells and whistles. It’s as easy as combining all the ingredients, folding them in foil and baking. Of course, you can always grill them too if it’s summertime or you have access to a grill.

The result is FLAVORFUL and tender chicken and veggies thanks to the vibrant cajun seasoning. The olive oil and garlic make this flavor-packed dish even better. If you’re trying to lose weight or on a low-carb diet, I suggest you eat the chicken and veggies straight out of the foil with a fork. If you want to make this a complete dinner, I suggest serving with cooked brown rice or quinoa or a side of mashed potatoes.

Ingredients


  • 2-3 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 large zucchini chopped
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon EACH garlic powder, chili powder, paprika, oregano, salt ground onion (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper optional

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 450F. Cut 4 sheet of foil into long rectangles (about 12''x12''). Set aside.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Spoon mixture evenly onto the 4 foil sheets. Fold and seal foil.
  3. Place foil packs on a cooking sheet and bake 20-25 minutes. Serve chicken from foil packets. Be careful when opening packets; steam is trapped inside.

Chicken cooked in a creamy garlic parmesan and sun-dried tomato sauce all in one pan in under 30 minutes. Serve with zucchini noodles, veggies or a salad for a low-carb protein packed lunch or dinner!

A few years ago I shared my favorite garlic parmesan chicken and today I’m sharing this sun-dried tomato version of it. Sun-dried tomato, garlic, and parmesan make the BEST cream sauce and with the addition of skillet grilled chicken, you’ve got yourself a dish that is to die for!

The trick to making this chicken super flavorful is using lots of garlic. I usually opt in for at least 3-4 cloves but if you’re not a fan of garlic I suggest using at least 2 cloves. For the base, I like to use heavy cream (great keto option) but half & half or substituting half the heavy cream with chicken broth or water will also work. I also like to add in a cup or two or baby spinach to the sauce for some added color and texture but that’s completely optional.

Ingredients


  • 4-6 (about 6 oz) boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded thin
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1-2 cups chopped spinach optional
  • 1 cup heavy/whipping cream see note for lighter option*
  • 1/4 cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken thin using a rolling pin or cut horizontally in half to about ½ inch thickness and season with salt and pepper. 
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat, and add chicken and sear on both sides for 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. Reduce the heat and remaining 1 tablespoon butter to the same pan.  Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds or until garlic begins to brown; Add sundried tomatoes, spinach, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and mix through. 
  4. Return chicken to the pan and simmer for another minute and remove from heat. Serve immediately with pasta, zucchini noodles, steamed vegetables, salad or rice.

Authentic Italian Chicken Parmesan topped with hearty tomato sauce, melted cheese, and herbs. This DELICIOUS Italian classic is one my family has been making for years. Made with simple ingredients, is full of flavor, and is a must-try recipe!

This Authentic Crispy Chicken Parmesan is one of my all time favorite dishes. It is a famous recipe within my family – and after having many versions of chicken parmesan over the years, I can say there isn’t one I’ve had better than this recipe! It is an easy and flavorful dinner that makes plenty of leftovers if needed and is the perfect crowd-pleasing meal.

INGREDIENTS

  • For the Chicken
  • 3 chicken breasts or cutlets, sliced in half into 6 cuts (see notes for difference)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (use gf flour blend if needed)
  • 3 eggs, whisked
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs (see notes to make homemade bread crumbs)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp (each) salt & pepper
  • 2 tsp Italian herb blend (thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • For the Topping
  • 6 slices Mozzarella
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato/marinara sauce
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place chicken cutlets/breasts in a ziplock bag, and firmly pound with a rolling pin or smooth side of a meat hammer - chicken thickness should be 1/2 inch.)
  2. Breadcrumbs: In a bowl mix all of breadcrumb ingredients together. Set up a line of bowls with flour, whisked eggs, and breadcrumbs. 
  3. Bread the Chicken: Dip chicken cutlets in flour on both sides. Then, transfer floured chicken and dip in egg on both sides. Last, dip both sides of chicken in bread crumbs. Evenly coat and pack breadcrumbs lightly with your hand.
  4. Brown Chicken: Heat 3 tablespoons of oil at a time in a cast iron skillet or pan - brown chicken for 2 minutes on both sides.
  5. Bake Chicken: Preheat oven at 425F. Lay browned chicken in a large baking pan or dish. Layer chicken: mozzarella slices then tomato sauce over top. Bake in oven for 14 minutes - remove from oven then sprinkle with shredded parmesan cheese. Place back in oven and broil on HIGH or 1 minute until cheese is melted and browned. Sprinkle with fresh basil and serve with your favorite pasta!

  • pinch of cayenne (can adjust for more or less spice)
  • Toppings
  • 6 small tortillas
  • guacamole
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Mix all of fajita seasoning in small bowl. Toss sliced peppers & onions in 2-3 tbsp olive oil and all of fajita seasoning until well coated. Lay evenly on a sheet pan. Bake for 15 minutes until vegetables are nicely roasted - flip veggies at 8 minutes to evenly roast. 
  2. Heat black beans in small pot on low heat for 2-3 minutes with a pinch of salt. Warm tortillas in oven for 1-2 minutes or microwave for 30 seconds.
  3. Remove peppers & onions from oven. Assemble fajitas: Tortilla, black beans, peppers & onions, guacamole, splash of lime juice, cilantro. Serve with rice/quinoa - enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • 16 ounces dry spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground chuck
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 medium yellow onion diced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 24 ounces Marinara sauce (your favorite) (one jar)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped basil divided
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan Cheese divided
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 350°F and spray a 13x9 baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Cook the spaghetti, per package directions, to al dente and drain.
  3. While the spaghetti cooks, brown the beef in a large skillet set over medium heat. Break the beef up with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
  4. Drain the beef and wipe out the skillet.
  5. In the same skillet, add the oil and butter. Add onions and cook until onion has softened and is translucent, about 4-5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook an additional 30 seconds.
  6. Add the beef, marinara sauce, 1-tablespoon chopped basil and ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until well combined and season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  7. Add the cooked spaghetti and stir until the spaghetti is well-coated.
  8. Transfer the spaghetti mixture to the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with Mozzarella and the remaining ¼ cup Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 20-30 minutes or until cheese has melted and the spaghetti is hot throughout.
  10. Garnish with the remaining chopped basil and serve

Ever since I tried avocado in a grilled chicken sandwich, I can no longer have chicken without avocado. I’ve added this salad to my healthy lunch rotation because the rotisserie chicken breasts are lean and a great source of protein, the avocado is packed full of nutrition and because no mayo or cream is added, you can enjoy the salad guilt-free.
Making this fresh and flavorful salad is as simple as combining avocado, shredded chicken, roasted corn and red onion. You can also add minced green onion, tomatoes, cucumber, or diced bacon. For the herbs, we used cilantro but dill or parsley also work very well too!

Ingredients


  • 2 medium cooked chicken breasts shredded or chopped (we used rotisserie chicken)
  • 2 ripe avocados pitted and diced
  • 1/2 cup corn roasted, canned, or frozen
  • 1/4 cup red or green onion minced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro minced (or parsley or dill)
  • 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the shredded chicken, avocado, onion, avocados, corn, and cilantro.
  2. Drizzle with the lime (or lemon) juice, olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss gently until all the Ingredients are combined.

Instructions

  1. Lay tortillas on a clean flat surface. Place about 1/2 cup chicken, 1 tablespoon ranch, 2 tablespoons of cheese, and 1 tablespoon of minced cilantro on each tortilla. Fold tightly to form a burrito shape.
  2. Heat a heavy-duty pan or grill to medium heat. Coat with a light layer or oil or cooking spray and cook wraps for 1-2 minutes on each side or until the tortilla is crispy and golden. Remove from heat, slice in half and serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Caesar salad dressing (click for homemade recipe)
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1-1½ cup Parmesan cheese grated

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 375F and spray the inside of an 8" x 11" baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. If the breasts are uneven thickness, pound them (placed in a Ziploc bag and on a flat surface) to an even ¾"-1" thickness using a meat pounder. Sprinkle the breasts (both sides) with grated Parmesan cheese & freshly ground black pepper, and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Whisk together Caesar dressing and sour cream in a small bowl. Pour the Caesar/sour cream mixture over each breasts then sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  4. Place the prepared chicken in the oven and bake at 375F for 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of one of the middle breasts reads 150°F.
  5. Turn the oven to broil and broil the breasts an additional 2-4 minutes or until the chicken turns golden brown. It can burn quickly, so watch it closely. When done, a meat thermometer should register 165F when stuck into the thickest part of one of the middle breasts. Remove from the oven, cover loosely with foil and allow chicken to rest 5-10 minutes before serving.
  6. If desired, garnish with chopped parsley.

A bowl full of savory autumn flavors, velvety texture, and tastes JUST like the classic Panera Bread soup we all know and love. Serve with a side salad and a side of bread to complete this delicious meal!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • 1 medium-large butternut squash peeled and cubed
  • 2-3 carrots peeled and chopped (or a little over 1 cup)
  • 1/2 15 oz. can organic pumpkin puree
  • 2 Tbsp coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cracked pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all of ingredients except heavy cream to slow cooker/crock pot: vegetable broth, onion, squash, carrots, pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt & pepper. Mix ingredients together. Place heat on low and cover - let cook for 5 hours. If you would like this to cook faster, you can set your cooker to high for 3-4 hours.
  2. After ingredients have cooked, use a hand blender to puree your soup or use a blender and in batches blend your soup until consistency is velvety smooth. Stir in heavy cream and adjust taste if you would like more cinnamon, brown sugar or salt. Serve soup with pumpkin seeds and enjoy!

  • 2 tablespoons Italian bread crumbs

  1. Preheat oven to 375 and grease a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place plastic wrap on a flat surface and place a single chicken breast onto the plastic wrap. Top with another piece of plastic wrap and use a meat tenderizer to flatten chicken until about 1/2" thick. Season with salt and pepper. Add 5 slices of asparagus to the center of the chicken, sprinkle half of the cheese and half of the seasoning on top. Roll up and place seam side down on the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with half of the bread crumbs. Repeat with the second chicken breast.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes or until chicken is cooked thoroughly.

  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated fresh or dried)
  • 2 teaspoon corn starch
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Whisk all of teriyaki sauce ingredients in a small bowl. 
  2. On medium heat in a cast-iron skillet brown chicken in oil until cooked on all sides and slightly crispy. *If pan isn't hot enough the chicken will steam so make sure pan is hot but not burning.* 
  3. Add teriyaki sauce to cooked chicken and stir for 1 to 2 minutes for sauce to thicken.
  4. Stir in broccoli with chicken and sauce. Serve over rice with sprinkled sesame seeds and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 3-4 Large Chicken Breasts

Tender skillet chicken in balsamic caramelized onion cream sauce. All you need are a few simple ingredients, and you’ve got a restaurant quality meal at home. And you won’t believe how easy it is to put this together!

So anyway! Guys, I cannot control my excitement on this one. This is the latest addition to my skillet chicken dinner family: balsamic. caramelized onion. cream sauce. [mic drop]

True story: I shared this dinner with my parents one evening. You guys, my dad is not someone who’s easily impressed by food. He just isn’t. But he absolutely could not stop eating this sauce. I know you don’t know him, but that is BIG.

This little number has got it all! Tender, seared chicken, caramelized onions, and then, balsamic vinegar to sweeten it all up a bit, then cream to mellow and smooth things out. We’ll flavor it with simple things like, a little thyme, a pinch of red pepper flakes and basically what you’ve got is a restaurant quality meal right at home.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 small boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream


DIRECTIONS:

  1. COOK THE CHICKEN: season both sides of the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken all the way through. Remove the chicken to a plate.
  2. caramelize the onions: add the butter to the skillet along with the onions. Push the onions around the pan so they pick up all the flavor bits left behind by the chicken, lower the heat to medium-low and allow the onions to cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring them as needed to prevent from sticking. The onions are done when they soften completely and deepen in color. Add the thyme, red pepper flakes, sugar, and balsamic vinegar, let the vinegar cook out for a couple of minutes.
  3. MAKE THE SAUCE: Grab a whisk for this next step. Slowly pour in the chicken broth in a steady stream while you whisk, this will help deglaze the pan. Kick the heat up to high and let the sauce reduce for 2-3 minutes or until it thickens a bit. Once the sauce reduces, lower the heat again, and add in the cream. You don’t want the cream to start boiling immediately as it will cause the sauce to split. Let the sauce come to a gentle simmer, once it does, add in the chicken breasts and spoon the sauce on top. Serve immediately. The sauce will thicken as it sits so you may need additional broth to thin it out.

Say hello to your new favorite one skillet chicken dinner that’s topped with a lemon garlic butter cream sauce! I used thin chicken breasts, but this recipe would be delicious with boneless chicken thighs too!

As many of you have probably guessed, I have a love for white meat chicken. It’s no dark meat for me. But the good news is that today’s chicken dinner is customizable to your chicken needs. Boneless skinless chicken thighs, sure, why not! *Applause* you’ve only just waited half of FOREVER for me to bring you something that could be made with something other than boneless skinless chicken breast.

This one skillet chicken recipe is my go to chicken dinner of the week decade. Obvi, this recipe requires just one pan. Which means, we make the chicken and the sauce – that’s right – in just uno skillet-o. We’re talking tender chicken, covered in a lemon garlic butter sauce that’s creamier that anything you’ve had before. Someone, please, throw some capers up in the sauce! This only *just* hit me now, but I’m totally doing it next time, pinky promise.

Should I just stop here? Are you on your way to the kitchen, cuz ya should be!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (or more to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ? cup finely diced shallots (or red onions)
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or basil


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Using a mallet, pound down the chicken breasts/thighs into ½ inch thickness. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper on both sides of the chicken.
  2. In a 2 cup measuring cup or a small bowl, combine the chicken broth, lemon juice, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Position a rack in the lower third of the oven and preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium high heat. Add the chicken and allow to brown on both sides for 2-3 minutes per side. Don’t worry if the chicken isn’t cooked completely, we’ll finish it in the oven. Remove the chicken to a plate.
  5. Reduce the flame to medium, add the shallots to the skillet along with the chicken broth mixture. Using a whisk, scrape the bottom of the pan so all the brown bits are loosened. Kick the heat back up to medium high and let sauce come to a simmer. Continue to cook the sauce for 10-15 minutes OR UNTIL ABOUT ? CUP OF THE SAUCE REMAINS.
  6. When the sauce has thickened, remove from the flame, add the butter and whisk until it melts completely. With the skillet off the flame, add the heavy cream, whisk to combine. Place the skillet back over the flame for just 30 seconds, DO NOT allow the sauce to boil. Remove from heat, add the chicken back into the pan and drizzle the sauce over the chicken. Place the skillet in the oven for 5-8 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked through. Top with chopped parsley or basil and serve warm with additional lemon slices.

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into 1 inch cubes

  • 2 tbsp olive oil divided
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/2 red bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup baby carrots sliced
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes


Instructions

  1. Stir Fry Sauce
  2. In a medium size bowl, whisk together corn starch and water. Add remaining ingredients (chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, and toasted sesame oil, red pepper flakes) and whisk to combine. Set aside.
  3. Add one tablespoon of olive oil to a large skillet or wok and heat over medium high heat.
  4. Add chicken (in batches if necessary) and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add remaining tablespoon of oil to the skillet.
  6. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrots and cook, stirring occasionally, just until crisp tender. Add ginger and garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  7. Add chicken back into the skillet and stir to combine.
  8. Whisk stir fry sauce and pour over chicken and vegetables and stir gently to combine.
  9. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, and let boil for one minute.
  10. Serve with rice and/or chow mein if desired.

Here I share with you a some game changing tips to getting Oven Baked Potato Wedges that are crispy and crunchy on the outside, yet light and fluffy on the inside!

And that’s what potato wedges are all about right? Nobody wants soggy wedges, there’s literally nothing worse. So it got me thinking, surely the only way to get crispy potato wedges isn’t just using a deep fat fryer? There’s got to be a way to getting truly crispy wedges in the oven. Well my friends, after much trial and error, and eating too many potatoes to the point I now look like a potato, I can safely tell you yes. Homemade crispy oven baked potato wedges are totally a thing.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium White Potatoes
  • 1/2 cup / 35g Parmesan, finely grated
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 heaped tsp Paprika
  • 1 heaped tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper, or more for spicier wedges!
  • 1/8 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice your potatoes into 8 equal wedge shapes. I find this easiest by slicing in half, then slicing those in half, and finally slicing in half again.
  2. Pop in a pot of cold water with a pinch of salt and bring to boil for 3-4 minutes. You should only just be able to slice with a knife. Any longer and they're over boiled.
  3. Drain and give them a shake in the colander to rough the edges. Sit and rest to steam for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine your Olive Oil, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Cayenne Pepper, Thyme, Salt and Black Pepper and preheat the oven to 200c/390f.
  5. Combine your wedges with the oil seasoning, mix to fully coat, then pour in your Parmesan and mix again.
  6. Spray or lightly oil an oven tray and evenly space out your wedges. Use 2 trays if you have to.
  7. Bake for 25-30mins or until golden brown on the outside. Flip once after 15 mins.
  8. Enjoy hot with your favourite dip!

One Pan Lemon Butter Chicken and Potatoes – A DELICIOUS family dinner that’s ready in 30 minutes and full of lemon buttery goodness!! ONE PAN keeps things EASY for you with less dishes!!

This easy and family-friendly recipe is ready in 30 minutes and you only need one pan which is such a timesaver on busy weeknights now that school is back in session or when you’re cooking for an event.

I started by browning the chicken and potatoes on my stove in my WOLL Diamond Lite Pro Saute Pan with Lid. It’s an extremely solid, well-made, nonstick coated cast aluminum pan that can go from stove to oven and is oven-safe up to 500F.

After lightly browning the chicken, I added butter, lemon juice, transferred the pan to my oven and baked the chicken and potatoes for 20 minutes. I used the convection bake setting on my oven but if you don’t have one, a regular oven is fine.

INGREDIENTS

  •  3 to 4 tablespoons olive oil
  •  2 to 2 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts (see Notes)
  •  2 to 2 1/2 pounds potatoes, diced into 1/2 to 1-inch pieces (see Notes)
  •  1 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
  •  1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
  •  1/4 cup unsalted butter, diced into small cubes
  •  1/4 cup lemon juice
  •  fresh parsley, optional for garnishing

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400F (use convection if you have it) and to a WOLL Diamond Lite Pro Saute Pan with Lid add the olive oil, chicken, and cook on the stove over medium-high heat to sear chicken on the first side.
  2. Keep chicken on one side of the pan while you begin to sear it and then add the potatoes to the other side.

  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped

INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper and cook steak bites in an even layer (you may need to do this in two batches), undisturbed for about 1 to 2 minutes, so the steak gets a good sear on it. Stir and repeat until steak is nice and caramelized. Try to not over cook them as they’ll cook fast.
  3. Remove steak bites to a plate to keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, add the Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil. Toss in the red bell pepper and cook for about 2 minutes, until pepper is lightly charred. Add in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Juicy jalapeño on bottom, with a loaded centre and a parmesan crunch on top, once you try this way of baking jalapeño poppers you’ll never look back. These Crispy Baked Jalapeño Poppers are an absolute must!

Today I pose the question – is it acceptable to eat jalapeño poppers at breakfast, lunch and dinner for the foreseeable future? Now before we discuss, I’d just like to share with you the evidence for such argument and why realistically I’ve already decided to act upon the notion. Let me welcome to the stage – Crispy Baked Jalapeño Poppers (otherwise known as this morning’s breakfast – guilty).

Ingredients

  • 10 Jalapeños
  • 8oz / 250g Cream Cheese
  • 5oz / 150g Streaky Bacon, finely diced
  • 1 cup / 100g Cheddar Cheese, finely grated
  • 1 Green/Spring Onion finely diced
  • 4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan finely grated
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • Salt & Black Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Begin by mixing your Breadcrumbs, Parmesan, Smoked Paprika and Salt & Pepper in a bowl and place to one side.
  2. Next, fry your Bacon bits over medium/high heat in a little oil until nice and crispy. When cool enough to handle, combine in a separate bowl with your Cream Cheese, Green Onion and Cheddar Cheese.
  3. Grab your Jalapeños and slice them horizontally, forming two boat-like shapes. Deseed with a teaspoon and begin filling with your Cream Cheese mixture. You want them filled to just above level height, around 1 tbsp per 'boat' should be fine, depending on Jalapeño size.
  4. Flip each boat upside down in to your breadcrumb mixture and gently press so the crumbs attach, forming the crispy layer.
  5. Place evenly spaced on a baking tray and bake for around 8-10 mins at 200c/390f just to heat through the center, just until they start to bubble. Then switch to the grill and broil for around 5 mins or until golden and crispy on top. Allow to cool for a few minutes and tuck in!

The key to mastering this ah-mazing little appetizer is to purchase the appropriate bacon.  I know what you are thinking.  Isn’t all bacon “appropriate”? Yes, I believe we are on the same page in terms of bacon always being an acceptable food option.  However, if you are going to make this particular appetizer, I would strongly suggest getting the best quality bacon you can find.  The juices of the chicken and the bacon blend together and amp the spices of these chicken wrapped bacon bites and take them to a whole new level.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless, chicken breasts (about 4 breasts)
  • 1.5 pound package good quality bacon
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes.
  3. Cut each bacon slice in half.
  4. Wrap each chicken cube with bacon. 

  5. In a medium mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  6. Dredge the wrapped chicken in mixture. (We did not use toothpicks, but if your bacon is falling off you can skewer them.) Place on foil-lined baking pan.

  7. Bake for 25 minutes and then flip the bites over. Bake for another 10 minutes or until bacon is crispy. 

  8. IF YOU USED THICK BACON and PRECOOKED THE BACON they only need to cook for 25 minutes. Still turn them over halfway through cooking.

  • 2 lb chicken legs
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix

Instructions

  1. Brush chicken legs with olive oil. Rub ranch dressing onto the chicken legs.
  2. Preheat grill to 350 degrees. Place chicken legs on grill. Grill for 30 minutes, rotating every 10 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 185-190 degrees F.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 large onions halved and thinly sliced
  • Pinch of salt and pepper to season
  • 2 teaspoons fresh chopped thyme divided
  • 2 tablespoons white wine, sherry or balsamic vinegar (OPTIONAL)
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or stock divided
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1 cup shredded gruyere cheese (or mozzarella cheese)
  • 4 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). 
  2. Lightly grease a 9x12-inch baking dish. Set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and season with salt, pepper and half of the fresh chopped thyme. Cook for 5-8 minutes until soft.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and cook, while stirring occasionally, until onions are caramelized and jammy (about 15 minutes). Pour in 1/4 cup of broth if pan gets too dry, and keep stirring until onions are browned. 
  5. OPTIONAL: Pour in white wine, sherry or balsamic vinegar to deglaze the pan and get some additional flavours into the onions. Let cook for a minute until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Turn off heat and let cool slightly.
  7. Cut chicken breasts in half horizontally to create pockets. Season chicken all over and inside pockets with salt, pepper, garlic powder and ground thyme. 
  8. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of caramelized onions into each pocket. Stuff each breast with the cheeses and seal chicken with toothpicks. 
  9. Transfer the remaining caramelized onions from the skillet to the prepared baking dish. Mix in remaining 1/4 cup of broth. Set aside. 
  10. Heat oil in the same skillet over medium high heat. Sear the stuffed chicken breasts for 4 minutes each side until browned. (They will not be fully cooked. You will finish them off in the oven.)
  11. Arrange chicken on the caramelized onions in the baking dish. Spoon some of the sauce in the dish over each chicken breast. Top with remaining chopped thyme and bake for 15-20 minutes or until fully cooked.
  12. Discard toothpicks. Serve with pan juices and onions.

An ultra flavorful pepper steak stir fry for the garlic lovers! This is a great stir fry to meal prep for the week and store in containers so you can just grab and go!

Boy have I got a treat for you today! This has to be hands down, the most delicious stir-fry recipe I’ve ever shared with you! Pepper steak stir fry is the kind of meal you keep in your back pocket when you want something that tastes like Asian takeout but is quick and easy enough to throw together at home, not to mention a million and one times healthier than the stuff you get at the corner restaurant.

There are so many reasons I love this recipe. Starting with it’s healthy, loaded with protein, colorful, and pretty simple to make. Marinate the meat right before making it or on Sunday if you want this to treat you exceptionally well with all its garlicky glory. Make it Monday nights dinner (or Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday) then enjoy leftovers as a meal prep all week long.

INGREDIENTS:
MARINADE:

  • 6 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup low sodium chicken or beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (scant)
  • 1/8 – 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • STIR FRY:
  • 1 – 1 1/2 pounds flank, skirt or top sirloin steak cut into pieces on the biased
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger (or paste)
  • 6-8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 bell peppers, cut into cubes (any color you like)
  • 1 medium onion, cut into thick slices
  • oil, for cooking


DIRECTIONS:

  1. MARINADE: combine the ingredients for the marinade along with 1/4 cup of water in a measuring cup or mason jar.
  2. PREP EVERYTHING: Place the meat in a medium bowl and drizzle in 3 tablespoons of the prepared marinade; mix with a spoon. Cover the meat and set aside for 30 minutes – overnight. Stir the grated ginger and minced garlic into the remaining marinade. Cover and refrigerate if using later.
  3. STIR FRY: when ready to cook, heat a tablespoon of oil in a large non-stick skillet over high heat. Add 1/2 of the prepared beef and cook until it is well seared on both sides, roughly 1 minute. Remove to a plate. Continue cooking the remaining meat (and remove). Add the onions along with 2 teaspoons of oil (if needed) and stir them around so to pick up the flavors. Cook for 1 minute before adding the peppers, stir to combine. Add the meat back to the skillet. Stir remaining marinade as the cornstarch may have settled. Pour into the skillet and quickly toss everything so that it all gets coated with the sauce, about 30-45 seconds or so. Top with sesame seeds if desired and serve with rice or a salad.

Cozy Creamy, Chicken tetrazzini! This chicken casserole has tender chicken, a creamy and tangy white sauce all tossed with egg noodles, sauteed mushrooms, and topped with a generous handful of buttered breadcrumbs. It’s easy to make and feeds a crowd!

We’re doing a throwback today with the creamiest, coziest noodle bake known to man.  I’m not one to make a lot of casseroles. Seriously, I think I may have like one other recipe on here. But when we’re talking about a dish full of egg noodles wrapped in a creamy white sauce, somewhere between forkfuls of this stuff, I start to wonder why I don’t make things like this more often. I am a Midwesterner at heart after all. ???????

This noodle casserole is perfect for the colder spring evenings. It’s hearty, filling and feeds a crowd. And if you’re from the Midwest, serving chicken tetrazzini for Easter, is 100% acceptable.

My creamy chicken tetrazzini begins like most recipes. You know, the noodles, sauteed baby bellas, and tender shredded chicken. But I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t change the whole thing up. We’re kicking it up with seasonings and tossing some shredded melty cheese into the white sauce.

INGREDIENTS:
CHICKEN TETRAZZINI:

  • 1 pound cooked shredded or diced chicken
  • 12 ounces cooked egg noodles*
  • 1 pound baby Bella mushrooms, sliced
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • SAUCE:
  • 6 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups low sodium chicken stock
  • ½ cup sour cream (full fat)
  • 1¼ cups cream (half and half or whole milk)
  • 1½ teaspoon garlic powder, divided
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese*


DIRECTIONS:


  1. SAUTE: Position a rack in the center of the oven; preheat the oven to 350ºF.  Add a swish of oil to a large saute pan and saute the mushrooms over medium-high heat for  5-7 minutes, remove to a plate.
  2. SAUCE: Add 3 tablespoons of butter to the same saute pan, once it melts add the flour and whisk. Cook for 1-2 minutes to remove the raw flour taste. Slowly stream in the chicken broth about 1/4 cup at a time while you whisk using your other hand. Allow the sauce to start bubbling, then let thicken for 3-4 minutes or until it just coats the back of a spoon. Lower the heat to the lowest heat setting and add the sour cream, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and onion powder as you whisk to make a smooth sauce. If the heat is too high the sour cream will curdle (fine to eat, just not as visually appealing.) Once the sour cream is mixed in, stream in the cream. Kick the heat back up to medium-high and allow the sauce to thicken, 2 minutes.
  3. ASSEMBLE: Remove from heat, stir in the cheddar cheese and let it melt. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper as desired. Fold in the noodles, sauteed mushrooms, and shredded chicken. Spray a 9×13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray, add the prepared tetrazzini to the pan. Melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter in a small bowl, stir in the parmesan, Italian breadcrumbs, and the remaining ½ teaspoon of garlic powder (if desired.) Scatter the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the casserole. Bake, uncovered for 30-35 minutes or until the breadcrumbs brown and the sauce bubbles around the rim. Brown under the broiler for a few seconds to darken the breadcrumbs more if you’d like. Serve warm topped with chopped parsley if desired.

Justru kawasan desa wisata ketingan ini merupakan salah satu lokasi yang sangat wajib kita kunjungi. disini kita akan disambut dengan suasana alami pedesaan yang masih sangat tenang. Selain itu kita juga masih dapat melihat banyaknya kawasan burung kuntul yang berada di area persawahan. Tak mengherankan jika dengan kondisi seperti itu, desa wisata ketingan menjadi salah satu tempat hunfot di Sleman yang cukup terkenal. Jika kalian sedang berada di jogja maka sebaiknya datang saja berwisata alam ke desa yang terletak di  Dusun Ketingan, Desa Tirtoadi, Kecamatan Mlati, Sleman, Yogyakarta.

2. Desa Wisata Kasongan

Jogja selalu menawarkan keistimewaan yang tidak dijumpai di tempat wisata lain. Ada pesona magis yang membuat banyak orang ingin kembali berkunjung ke sana. Apalagi sekarang banyak sekali tempat wisata instagramable di Yogyakarta yang sangat mendukung budaya narsis, seperti spot wisata sejarah di Jogja yang sejak dulu amat populer. Rasanya belum ke Jogja kalau hanya terpaku pada tempat-tempat mainstream yang sudah lama ada. Padahal masih ada begitu banyak objek-objek wisata baru di kota Yogyakarta. Siap-siap saja bawa kamera yang bagus karena ada banyak spot foto yang mesti dijepret di sini.


1. Studio Gamplong
Siapa yang sudah nonton film Sultan Agung? Atau jangan-jangan kemarin tanggal 15 Agustus 2019 baru saja menonton film legendaris “Bumi Manusia” yang diadaptasi dari novel This Earth of Mankind karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer? Pokoknya, kedua film itu digarap di lokasi yang sama, loh! Yaitu di Desa Wisata Gamplong, tepatnya di Studio Alam Gamplong.

Pada mulanya, studio ini adalah set untuk syuting film yang digarap oleh sutradara Hanung Bramantyo dan pemodalnya adalah Moeryati Soedibyo, sang CEO Mustika Ratu. Selesai proses syuting Sultan Agung, lokasi ini dihibahkan kepada bupati Sleman. Dan akhirnya kini menjadi tempat wisata bertajuk studio film terbuka. Lokasi ini wajib banget dikunjungi.


2. Taman Pelangi Jogja
Ini termasuk objek wisata malam hari di Jogja yang masih tergolong baru. Nuansa wisata alam dengan konsep taman kota yang dipenuhi lampion berbagai bentuk ini sudah banyak ada di Malang, seperti Malang Night Paradise. Namun di Jogja masih sangat sedikit.

Salah satunya adalah Taman Pelangi yang berada di kompleks Monumen Yogya Kembali. Ini menjadi wahana untuk menonton lampion warna-warni dengan bentuk dan sinar yang indah sekali. Di sana ada sekitar 20 spot bermain yang bagus untuk berfoto. Objek wisata di Yogyakarta ini dibuka  mulai jam 17.00-23.00. Harga tiket masuk Taman Pelangi Jogja hanya Rp15.000 saja per orang.

3. Snack Wonderland Jogja
Berkunjung ke tempat wisata instagramable di Yogyakarta tidak boleh melewatkan yang satu ini. Namanya Snack Wonderland. Lokasi ini sangat cocok untuk berfoto ria karena desain interiornya yang bagus banget. Pengunjung akan dimanjakan dengan spot-spot foto unik dan menarik.

Spot wisata ini punya bianglala yang cukup tinggi sehingga bisa bikin deg-degan dan seru banget kalau naik. Paling cocok naik Bianglala Edupark kalau sore hari ya! Biar melihat pemandangan langit jingga yang megah dan cantik banget. Kalau malam-malam juga bagus untuk mengamati lampu-lampu perkotaan Jogja yang gemerlap. Intinya Sindu Kesuma Park menjadi objek wisata senja di Yogyakarta yang paling dekat pusat kota dan asik banget.


5. Rumah Fantasia Jogja
Jangan lupa berkunjung ke Rumah Fantasia Jogja. Tempat wisata instagramable di Yogyakarta ini juga sangat bagus banget buat hunting spot foto kece. Konsep besar dari destinasi pariwisata di Yogyakarta ini yakni negeri boneka.

Jadi kita akan bisa menikmati aneka macam set boneka lengkap dengan istana-istana dan tempat bermain ala anak-anak. Bagi para orang tua, wajib untuk membawa anaknya ke tempat wisata ini. Dijamin anak Anda akan senang sekali. Nah, makanya nih kalau Rumah Fantasia Jogja dinobatkan sebagai tempat wisata anak sekolah di Jogja yang laris banget sepanjang tahun 2019 ini.

6. Gondola Pantai Timang
Ada-ada saja memang inovasi pariwisata di Indonesia. Seperti yang ada di Pantai Timang, Gunung Kidul Jogja ini. Objek wisata Gunung Kidul ini menawarkan sensasi naik gondola di atas perairan pantai.

Tapi usut punya usut kalau main ke Pantai Timang mesti sedia banyak uang karena di sana tidak berlaku tiket terusan. Jadi tiap spot yang instagenic akan selalu dikenai tarif. Seperti spot jembatan dan gondola yang menghubungkan pulau Timang dengan pulau Watu Panjang.


7. Lintang Sewu
Ini dia tempat wisata instagramable di Yogyakarta selanjutnya. Namanya Lintang Sewu! Sudah pernah ke sana? Bukit Lintang Sewu terletak di Dlingo, Bantul. Menawarkan pemandangan alam dari ketinggian dan hiasan berupa kursi besar berbentuk bintang.

Benar-benar pengalaman yang seru banget kalau bisa sampai di lokasi ini pada malam hari untuk mendapatkan pemandangan indah lampu-lampu di bawah bukit ini. Namun kalau pun siang maka juga cantik karena bisa berfoto bareng si bintang ini. Selain itu, tempat ini juga sangat romantis untuk berlibur dengan kekasih.

8. Hutan Pinus Pengger
Kalau main ke Jogja, sempatkanlah mampir ke hutan pinus Pengger. Lokasi wisata romantis untuk Valentine di Jogja ini merupakan kawasan wanawisata dengan pemandangan alam luar biasa dari ketinggian. Berbagai ornament seperti jembatan telapak tangan dan pohon berlubang siap memanjakan kamera.

Waktu terbaik untuk berlibur ke sini adalah pada sore hari karena udara tidak terlalu panas dan matahari tidak menyilaukan. Namun bila mau datang malam hari pun bisa. Cocok untuk para pemburu bintang-bintang perkotaan alias lampu dari ketinggian.

9. Ayunan Langit Watu Jaran
Sudah pernah main ke Kulonprogo? Apa mampir ke wahana ayunan langit Watu Jaran? Objek wisata ini menjadi salah satu tempat favorit turis asing, loh! Bagaimana tidak? Sebuah ayunan yang mengayun di ketinggian. Di bawahnya pepohonan, di hadapannya pemandangan pepohonan. Dan sungguh bikin uji adrenalin.

Tapi tenang saja, kalau mau naik ayunan ini harus memakai tali pengaman kok! Jadi safety deh meskipun berayun-ayun tinggi dan agak cepat di sini. Kalau mau naik Ayunan Langit Watu Jaran mestinya bawa 2 kamera ya. Yang satu dipegang diri sendiri, yang lain dipegang teman. Biar teman juga bisa jepret foto dan rekam videonya.

10. The World Landmarks Merapi Park
Objek wisata yang seperti ini ada di Small World Purwokerto. Mengusung konsep taman miniatur landmark-landmark dunia, maka The World Landmarks Merapi Park ini tak kalah cantiknya dari yang ada di Purwokerto.

Ada banyak miniatur ikon-ikon bangunan yang mendunia, seperti Kincir Angin Belanda dan Menara Eiffel di Paris. Nah, kira-kira sudah siap belum nih mengunjungi destinasi narsis ini? Jangan lupa ajak teman ya biar bisa moto-in.

Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Vegetable Skillet is the BEST 20 minute meal packed with awesome cajun flavor with shrimp, sausage, and summer veggies.  This makes a great low carb meal and is also great for meal prep!

Make this skillet in a variety of ways! If you love the mixture of cajun, shrimp and vegetables try this Cajun shrimp and sausage veggie skewers, cajun shrimp and sausage vegetable sheet pan or cajun shrimp and sausage vegetable foil packet.

Now that our sweet girl is six weeks old, I can focus on myself now.  Working out and eating better to lose the extra pounds.

I was a lot more careful with this last pregnancy gaining weight, so I don’t have a ton to lose.  But I can’t wait to start feeling better about myself and fitting in my pre-pregnancy jeans again.

I love creating easy meals that are healthy and full of flavor.  Since I don’t have a lot of time with a newborn, I love when I can create a meal that is ready in no time at all.

This one just happens to be ready in about 20 minutes!  This is a great family meal, but I actually used it for meal prep.

It is delicious served over some brown rice, or quinoa and the cajun flavor is my favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 14 ounce pork or chicken sausage sliced
  • 2 medium sized zucchini sliced
  • 2 medium sized yellow squash sliced
  • 1/2 bunch asparagus sliced into thirds
  • 2 red bell pepper chopped into chunks
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Cajun Seasoning


Instructions


  1. In a large bowl add the shrimp, sausage, zucchini, yellow squash, asparagus, bell pepper and salt and pepper. Add olive oil and cajun seasoning and toss until coated.

  2. Add to a large skillet and turn to medium high. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the shrimp is pink and the vegetables are tender.

  3. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
