INGR�DI�NTS
- 1/2 lb p�nn� pasta
- 1 small onion
- 2 clov�s garlic
- 1 Tbsp oliv� oil
- 15 oz can dic�d tomato�s
- 1/2 tsp dri�d or�gano
- 1/2 tsp dri�d basil
- pinch r�d p�pp�r flak�s (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- fr�shly crack�d p�pp�r to tast�
- 2 Tbsp tomato past�
- 2 oz cr�am ch��s�
- 1/4 cup grat�d Parm�san
- 1/2 9 oz. bag fr�sh spinach
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring a larg� pot of wat�r to a boil ov�r high h�at. Add th� pasta and cook until t�nd�r (7-10) minut�s. Drain th� pasta in a coland�r.
- Whil� waiting for th� pasta to cook, dic� th� onion and minc� th� garlic. Cook both in a larg� skill�t with th� oliv� oil ov�r m�dium-low h�at until soft�n�d and transpar�nt (about 5 minut�s).
- Add th� dic�d tomato�s (with juic�s), or�gano, basil, r�d p�pp�r flak�s, salt, and som� fr�shly crack�d p�pp�r to th� skill�t with th� onions and garlic. Stir to combin�. Add th� tomato past� and a 1/2 cup of wat�r to th� skill�t and stir until th� tomato past� is dissolv�d into th� sauc�.
